MISSION:Vista Del Mar provides a trauma-responsive continuum of services to empower children, youth, and families in Southern California to lead fulfilling lives.
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Outpatient Services (OPS)/ Community and School Related Services(SBS) Clinician provides family counseling in the outpatient center and home environments, and on-site in Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) schools. This position includes a hybrid work schedule as an essential component of the role. The schedule will consist of a combination of on-site, school-based, community-based, and remote work to meet program needs.
All hybrid arrangements are subject to supervisor approval and may be adjusted at any time based on client needs, documentation requirements, productivity expectations, staffing coverage, or agency policy. While hybrid work is a standard aspect of this position, the specific balance of on-site and remote work may vary and is not guaranteed.
Job Duties (other duties may be assigned)
- Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
- Current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an ACSW, AMFT, or APCC is required for candidates who have obtained their Master’s degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge of public-school systems and comfort working in school, home, and community-based setting.
- Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance to travel throughout Los Angeles County.
