THE ROLEUnder the direction of the Translation Services Manager, you will independently manage your workload to meet deadlines by evaluating incoming requests, negotiating due dates with clients, outsourcing documents as required, and establishing priorities. You will translate written material from English to French, often under tight deadlines, and maintain the intent and style of the original material. You will coordinate freelance services, act as a liaison between customers and contractors, revise outsourced French and English documents for quality control, proofread translated material and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and typing errors before publication, and perform terminological research and create related records for the translation database.
One position will also be responsible for populating the AI translation lexicon specific to our organization.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Translation or a related field AND at least five (5) years of experience in translation or a related field.

The selection process will be done virtually. This is a temporary position with an anticipated start date of March 2 2026 and an end date of March 1 2028. This is a remote position, and the employee can be located anywhere in Canada, but must be available between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. On‑site or a hybrid arrangement is also possible depending on the employee’s preference. Remote work may be required depending on health and safety considerations.
