Job DescriptionAbout the Role
We're looking for a Foster Care Case Worker to join our team based at Kent Town to cover a Parental Leave cover to March 2027

Your
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an assessment case load of carer applicants in the LC Assessment Team to conduct thorough, competency-based foster carer assessments using the Step By Step assessment tool and process, OR other nominated assessment tools and processes as required.
- Assistthe Placement Team with the matching of children and young people into home-based placements.
- Provide information and ensure completion of mandatory training of foster care applicants.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- A degree level of qualification in Social Work and eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Registration in Step by Step Assessment tool
- Extensive experience in the out of home care sector
