Agency - Independent Reviewing Officer IRO & Independent Chair CP Chair - Shropshire Council

Our client, Shropshire County Council, is seeking an agency IRO / Independent Chair.

This role will last 3 months initially, paid at £38 per hour (MOU rate).

The role will involve the following:

• Based at the Guild hall, Shropshire and working from home
• Dependent upon review mostly home working. But will need to come in the office for conferences that are ICPCs and Team meetings (once a month).
• Understand all tasks as IRO and Independent Chair.
• Complete ICPCs and RCPCs.
• Complete Child Looked After Reviews.
• Complete Midpoint Reviews
• Complete Quality Assurance work in line such as Rags

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Must have experience working as an IRO and/or Independent Chair
