We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join our Specialist Mother and Baby Mental Health Service (SMABS), which serves over 8,000 live births per year across Bradford, Airedale and Craven. The service provides early intervention and comprehensive care for women with significant perinatal mental health problems.

Responsibilities- Provide a community perinatal psychiatric service to women with serious perinatal mental health problems, up to 1 year postpartum, including preconception advice.
- Conduct bio‑psycho‑social assessment, formulation, diagnosis and management for complex mental health needs in the perinatal period; perform comprehensive risk assessment and management planning.
- Deliver clinical contacts across a range of settings, working collaboratively with women and their families with compassion.
- Contribute as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Coordinate with the regional inpatient Mother and Baby Unit for care and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with Adult Psychiatry Service, CAMHS and partner services to provide integrated care.
