KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensure Physical Security of the Home Office including Associates and Assets  
• Administration of Card Access System  
• Facilitates AP new hire orientation and issuance of card access keys  
• Active participation in the facility’s Leadership Team’s efforts to provide a safe and secure work environment.

Responsibilities include:

o Investigations into security related incidents  o Partnership with HR/Leadership Team as required on WC issues, safety concerns, workplace substance abuse concerns, workplace violence, and other sensitive matters.  
• Perform daily operational inspections  o Report audit findings to Asset Protection leadership/HR  o Fix non-compliant operational controls & Re-audit non-compliant operational controls  
• When applicable supervise all Security personnel associated with the office  o Develop and Maintain relationships with Lits’ building operations and security teams  
• Manage/monitor Burglar/Fire Alarm systems including call lists  
• Facilitate Quarterly Safety Meetings as well as drills, evacuations, etc.  
• Lead safety team in review of accidents for root cause  
• Conducts opening/closing surveillances  
• Operate CCTV/E

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least 2 years of similar experience in a physical security environment, including supervisory experience of contract guards or personnel  
• AA or BA Degree preferred  
• Overall knowledge of investigative processes  
• CCTV use and awareness and knowledge  
• Experience with Safety in office environment a plus  
• Wicklander & Zulawski certification a plus  
• E  experience a plus    BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE AND CRITICAL

SKILLS:

• Maintain good working relationships with all cross functional business partners, staff and contract security representatives  
• Keep close communications with Office Team  
• Good written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, ie. Microsoft Office, Excel  
• Working knowledge of Burglar/Fire/Card Access and CCTV Systems  
• Familiar with OSHA Safety Compliance and local/State and Provincial Fire Codes  
• AED/CPR certification  
• Physical Security  
• Burglar Alarm Review/Response  
• Exception Based Reporting  
• Highly organized and detailed  
• Ability to adapt in a changing environment
