Sales Engineer

• Partner with customers to help increase their security posture
• Review and highlight potential security problems to customers’ technical teams while positioning the employer as a solution
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering to voice customer needs
• Identify opportunities for improvement in a fast-moving environment
• Travel approximately 25% of the time to meet with customers

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or similar role
• Experience in the cybersecurity industry and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks
• Experience working with or within managed service providers (MSPs) and/or value-added resellers (VARs)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly to C-level executives
• Effective time management and organizational skills

• Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
• Experience building and implementing security programs
• Familiarity with MSP tools such as remote monitoring and management (RMM) and professional services automation (PSA)
• Knowledge of working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools like Elastic and Splunk
