Security Manager - Americas - Remote

Job SummaryThe Americas Security Manager will report to the Director of Security – Americas and will mature and shape CRH’s security operations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The role requires a thorough understanding of security risk management and the ability to proactively assess and respond to potential threats.
Job LocationRemote—candidates must reside in a U.S. state west of the Mississippi River.
Responsibilities- Partner with the Director of Security – Americas to implement security strategies aligned with industry best practices and internal policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security procedures, processes, and guidelines across offices, manufacturing plants, and distribution facilities.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports to measure security performance.
- Support and drive proactive security initiatives and align the program with global standards.
- Conduct site risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance on physical security system implementation and support planning for relocations and projects.
- Coordinate responses to internal and external security incidents, business continuity, crisis management, and emergency preparedness.
- Consult with law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory agencies during critical events.
- Build intelligence networks with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and industry peers.
- Lead investigations into misconduct, fraud, and other security-related incidents.
- Support executive protection, travel security, and event protection programs.
- Develop and deliver security awareness education programs and conduct training workshops.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of increasing responsibility in security operations, investigations, or related disciplines.
- Proven expertise in risk evaluation, incident/crisis management, insider risk detection, investigations, and protective services.
- Experience in diverse environments including offices, manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain facilities.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms).
- Experience in insider risk prevention strategies and investigative work.
- Strong understanding of travel security and executive protection.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence all levels.
- Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Collaborative mindset within a matrixed global environment.
- High integrity and sound judgment.
- Professional certifications (CPP, PSP, CISSP, etc.) desirable.
- Fluency in English required;
Spanish proficiency highly desirable. - Must be able to travel across the Americas (~50%) and respond to incidents outside of business hours.
- Base Salary – $140,000-$165,000 per year
