Position Overview: Land Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Part‑Time Intern. This position offers hands‑on experience in ecological and environmental consulting, with opportunities for professional growth and potential transition into a full‑time role upon graduation.

Work Schedule:

• Hours:
  
  4–8 hours per day, 2–4 days per week (excluding weekends)
• Flexibility:
  Schedule can be adjusted to accommodate college classes
• Location:
  
  Primarily on‑site; minimal remote work opportunities
• Compensation:
  Hourly rate starting at $15/hour, commensurate with experience (recommendation: $16–$18/hour for relevant coursework or field experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist staff and project scientists with field data collection for wetland and water resource delineations and other ecological assessments
• Perform fieldwork (70%) and office tasks (30%), including data entry and report preparation
• Hike 2–3 miles daily while carrying up to 25 lbs of equipment
• Support ecological surveys and contribute to environmental documentation

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or completed an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field
• Preferred
  
  Skills:
  • Knowledge of local flora and wetland delineation methods
  • Familiarity with wetland characteristics
  • Experience in report writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic PC skills
• Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions

Growth Opportunity: The ideal candidate will have an interest in transitioning to a full‑time seasonal or permanent position in Spring–Summer 2026.
