Pay Range: $46 - $52 per hour, W2

Contract Duration: 12 Month Contract

• Operate mass spectrometry for characterization of complex systems.
• Focus on European REACH regulations through mass spectrometry experiments and interpretations.
• Interpret data, draw conclusions, and communicate findings to internal customers both verbally and through formal scientific reports.
• Participate in administrative functions including safety programs and performance culture.
• Engage in active lab work, with limited duties potentially performed from a home office as defined by the supervisor.
• Develop separations, determine ionization and analysis parameters, interpret results, and collaborate with other scientists for data/report compilation.

• Ph.D. or equivalent with 5 years' experience, or BS/MS with 10 years' experience.
• More than 10 years of professional experience.

• Strong written and oral communication skills, including live presentations.
• Advanced expertise in various types of mass spectrometry.
• Competency with GCMS, GCMSMS, and LCMSMS.

• Basic expertise in lubricant chemistry.
• Industrial chemistry experience is a plus.
• Pharmaceutical experience is acceptable.
