Overview
Job Title: Clinical Trial Assistant
The Clinical Trial Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Clinical Operations team by managing essential documents in the TMF, developing study materials, and coordinating shipments of clinical trial materials. This role involves communication with sites, CROs, vendors, and CRAs, and requires the ability to assist in planning and supporting investigator meetings. The position requires a proactive approach to track study progress, team training, and manage final sign-off of project documents.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of essential documents in the TMF.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of study materials including site and CRA training material, regulatory documents, lab and pharmacy manuals, study binders, study plans, study communications, and presentations.
- Manage shipments of clinical trial materials to sites, study teams, CRAs, and external vendors.
- Support the collection, review, and tracking of site documents such as 1572s, CVs, and financial disclosure documents.
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and on-site support of investigator meetings.
- Communicate with sites, CROs, vendors, and CRAs to obtain updated information and essential documents.
- Track study team training and clinical trial progress including status update reports.
- Route final sign-off of project and study-related documents as required.
- Coordinate and schedule team meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track action items.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Study Coordinator experience preferred.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to take ownership and follow through with tasks.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and make appropriate decisions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat).
Skills & Qualifications
- BS/BA degree required.
- Experience with Smart Sheet is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and embrace change in a dynamic environment.
- Strive for continuous improvement and embrace innovative ideas in daily work.
This is a remote position operating on PST hours. The work environment is dynamic and rapidly growing, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
