Biologist- Remote Desktop Analyst Coordinator; Field Based

• Conduct desktop reviews for environmental clearance work utilizing biological and water resource skills
• Perform environmental constraints analysis to determine necessary avoidance and minimization measures for compliance
• Complete assignments according to the employer's management system and quality standards
• Train and become proficient in the client’s Work Management Systems
• Ensure compliance with the employer’s safety program and protocols

• BA/BS or Master’s degree in a natural science discipline
• 2+ years of field experience in California habitats, preferably Southern California
• Strong proficiency in computer software including Excel and online data management systems
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on projects with expedited deadlines

• Experience conducting desktop constraints analysis using ArcGIS Online
• Knowledge of sub-meter accuracy GPS technologies and map interpretation skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail in documentation of work
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a consulting role
