- Provide hands-on support for engineering research and experiments
- Assist with lab housekeeping, organization, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Prepare equipment, materials, and work areas for experiments
- Support basic data collection and documentation
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe research environment
- Able to work independently and remain task-driven
- Willingness and comfort to work around chemicals and chemical processes
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with MS Office Suite, mainly MS Excel
- Available 15-20 hrs./week (between 6:00am and 5:00pm Monday-Friday)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering student
- Junior/Senior level with research experience preferred
- Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students
- Experience with fabrication or process control software, such as Lab View, a plus
