Business Development Representative - UK Market

Qevlar is a B2B SaaS startup that strives to massively increase the productivity of cybersecurity teams. We develop AI Cybersecurity Analysts that augment Security Operations Centers (SOCs). Since our creation 2 years ago, we have:
- Raised €14 million in seed funding led by EQT Ventures and Forgepoint Capital
- Been incubated by both Microsoft (GenAI Studio) and Meta (AI Program)
- Deployed our solution to Global 500 companies and leading MSSPs in EMEA and North America (Equans, Nomios, Global Connect, Almond)
We’re now looking for a Business Development Representative - UK Market to help us build and scale a high-quality sales pipeline and accelerate our go-to-market efforts.
What will you do- Proactively generate pipeline through outbound outreach (email, calls, Linked In, events)
- Identify and qualify potential customers within our target market
- Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders in cybersecurity and IT teams
- Personalize outreach messaging based on prospect context and use cases
- Experiment with and optimize outbound strategies, messaging, and tooling
- Represent Qevlar at industry events and conferences
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to align on ICP and messaging
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM
We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is motivated by building from the ground up.
- 1+ year of experience in B2B sales or business development (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Based in UK or France (Paris)
- Proven ability to generate leads and book qualified meetings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with cold outreach and objection handling
- Native in English
- Interest in cybersecurity and AI (prior knowledge is a plus, not required)
- Work on meaningful problems with real-world impact in cybersecurity
- High-impact role in a small, fast-moving, international team
- Direct influence on our go-to-market strategy and product-market fit
- Strong culture of autonomy, ownership, and experimentation
- Competitive compensation: €40,000–€50,000 base + €10,000–€15,000 variable
- Opportunity for equity and early ownership
- Flexible work setup: remote-friendly or join us in our Paris (9th arrondissement) office
