Overview

BDM (Sales & Acc Man) - Renewables Tech Engineering – Sector:
Renewable energy technology. Company: specialist technical / software engineering to global renewable energy sector. Mix of business development, account management, and software/engineering/technical sales. Requires background in sales, business development or account management for renewables, engineering or tech (e.g., solar, wind, wave, hydrogen).

• Responsibility for account management, BD, sales & marketing for leading software products in the high growth renewables sector.
• Manage your own BD and pipeline and help develop sales strategy.
• Devise and execute new ideas for business development campaigns (in conjunction with marketing agency).
• Use market knowledge to feed into Product Development Team.
• Mix of new and existing business: build relationships and grow accounts with existing clients and win new business bids.
• Meet clients, attend events, webinars; content creation and involvement with renewables. Requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in cross-cultural teams, and strong decision-making abilities.

• Technical sales &/ or business development lead ideally within renewable energy.
• Background in renewables (e.g., PV, onshore/offshore wind, tidal, biomass).
• Tech / IT / software / SaaS / engineering sales.
• B2B business development processes and technologies.
• Experience in setting up sales & BD function/team.

• Renewables tech / software / engineering with commercial/market knowledge.
• Experience with energy companies, solar or wind developers, designers, manufacturers, suppliers, asset management.
• Familiarity with Word Press, Hub Spot, Slack, Mailchimp and Teams.

UK or Europe. Remote working possible.
