This is a remote position.
The Transactional Sales Executive is responsible for driving consistent monthly revenue through a combination of new business acquisition and upselling/cross-selling to existing clients.
This is a high-volume B2B sales role requiring strong pipeline discipline, commercial acumen, and the ability to engage confidently with decision-makers. The successful candidate will balance proactive new client generation with revenue expansion across the existing client base.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities outlined below are indicative of the role and may evolve in accordance with business needs.
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through a balanced mix of:
New business acquisition
Upselling and cross-selling to existing clients;
Build and manage a structured pipeline of new and existing opportunities; and
Maintain strong follow-up cadence to maximise conversion and revenue expansion.
Identify, qualify, and secure new B2B clients;
Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and Linked In;
Engage HR leaders, L&D managers, department heads, and business owners; and
Convert first-time prospects into enrolled clients through structured, solution-led. conversations
Proactively identify opportunities to expand revenue within existing accounts;
Position additional programmes aligned to client workforce development needs;
Build relationships with key decision-makers to unlock repeat business; and
Ensure high levels of client engagement to drive retention and recurring sales.
Sales Execution
Conduct needs analyses and recommend appropriate solutions;
Deliver professional written proposals and verbal presentations;
Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting, and activity tracking; and
Operate effectively in a high-volume, transactional sales environment.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ B2B sales experience with exposure to both new business and account growth;
Proven ability to achieve consistent monthly sales targets;
Experience operating in a high-volume sales environment;
Demonstrated passion for sales and performance-based roles;
Above-average written and verbal communication skills;
Solutions-oriented mindset with strong objection-handling ability;
Confidence engaging with key decision-makers; and
Strong pipeline management and follow-up discipline.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
B or similar undergraduate qualification; or relevant work experience;
Background in education, professional development, or a related field; and
Experience selling training, education, or skills development solutions.
