Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Blinds and Shutters

Industry Sector: Window Blinds, Fabrics, Textile Printing, Roller Blinds, Shutters, Interior Building Products, Installers, Window Blind Manufacturers, fabricators, Installers, merchants and retailers

Area to be covered: West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Mid & South Wales, Gloucestershire and Somerset

Based: Ideally West Midlands

Remuneration: £35,000 - £38,000 + £8,000-£10,000 commission

• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of components and fabrics for blinds and shutters
• Direct sell into small business end users historically
• All of your time will be spent selling direct to the trade via: shutter and blind manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors as well as merchants and blind retailers
• Inheriting a well‑established area only available due to an internal promotion
• Currently turning over circa £3m
• 95% account management role, circa (Apply online only) active spending customers on patch
• Typically three customers per day (some over teams), four days per week, one day working from home/ admin
• Majority of your work will be in the West Midlands

• Must have field sales experience selling direct to the trade
• Ideally experience selling into small business end users
• Preferably some experience selling into manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors or well as merchants/ blind retailers
• Specific knowledge or blinds, shutters  required
• Our client is very open on field sales product backgrounds
• Must be able to plan your own diary
• Account management capability/ relationships building skills
• Friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm
