SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Area Sales Manager to join our client in the Machine Tool industry. This is a fully remote position, with the successful candidate responsible for managing and growing our footprint across the Western Cape region.

Minimum Requirements
  • 3–5 years’ experience in technical sales within the Machine Tool, CNC, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery, cutting tools, and machining processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Western Cape.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow sales within the Western Cape region.
  • Identify new business opportunities within manufacturing, engineering, and machining environments.
  • Promote and sell CNC machines, cutting tools, and related solutions.
  • Provide technical sales support and product recommendations to customers.
  • Conduct customer visits, on‑site consultations, and product presentations.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Negotiate pricing and close sales agreements.
  • Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients.
  • Achieve and exceed regional sales targets and KPIs.
  • Provide market feedback and competitor insights to management.
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting and CRM updates.
