We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Area Sales Manager to join our client in the Machine Tool industry. This is a fully remote position, with the successful candidate responsible for managing and growing our footprint across the Western Cape region.
Minimum Requirements- 3–5 years’ experience in technical sales within the Machine Tool, CNC, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery, cutting tools, and machining processes.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Western Cape.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Technical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
- Customer‑focused and relationship‑driven.
- Strong business acumen.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Manage and grow sales within the Western Cape region.
- Identify new business opportunities within manufacturing, engineering, and machining environments.
- Promote and sell CNC machines, cutting tools, and related solutions.
- Provide technical sales support and product recommendations to customers.
- Conduct customer visits, on‑site consultations, and product presentations.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Negotiate pricing and close sales agreements.
- Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients.
- Achieve and exceed regional sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide market feedback and competitor insights to management.
- Maintain accurate sales reporting and CRM updates.
