Job Location

Charlottesville, North Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina (remote work). Ideal candidate residence:

Remote – five days a week, 5x8 shift.

Position Summary

This position covers the Western North Carolina and South Carolina territories. The focus is to represent and promote the full portfolio of IV Systems, Nutrition products, and Clinical Procedure products by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Represent and promote the full portfolio of IV Systems, Nutrition products, and Clinical Procedure products by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.
  • Call on a variety of decision makers (e.g., Pharmacists, Nurses, Physicians, Supply Chain, Hospital Administrators, etc.) to position products for presentation, evaluation, and purchase.
  • Prospect and qualify territory for new leads through sales calls in person, remotely, and via virtual channels.
  • Develop and actively maintain a pipeline of sustainable new sales opportunities sufficient to achieve or exceed sales target/quota.
  • Collaborate with regional team members to grow sales and expand market share.
  • Work through third parties for product promotion and delivery when required.
  • Maintain relationships with internal

    B. Braun departments (Marketing, Technical Services, Customer Service, Regional Office, ASC support).
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations providing solutions to potential customers.
  • Prepare financial analysis, proposals, and competitive analysis for customers and present the information to committee members within a hospital.
  • Support product evaluations and conversions as necessary.
Expertise:
Knowledge & Skills
  • Full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in the professional field.
  • Ability to use standard theories, principles, and concepts and integrate them to propose a course of action.
  • Work under general supervision.
  • Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
  • Periodically assist in orienting, training, or reviewing the work of other peers.
  • Exercise judgment in resolving day‑to‑day problems.
  • Primary contacts include department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers.
  • Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
Qualifications – Education / Experience / Training
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–4 years of medical sales experience required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Frequent business travel required; valid driver’s license and passport.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Physical Demands:

  • Moderate work – Exerting up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently.
COVID-19 & Vaccination Requirements

All personnel must be fully vaccinated or immunized in accordance with the requirements of the Healthcare Customers, which may include vaccinations against COVID‑19, seasonal influenza, Hepatitis B Virus, and others. Credentialing and background checks are required.

Compensation

Salary: $73,000 – $85,000 per year plus incentive compensation.
