You will take complete ownership of a defined territory, acting as a consultant to municipal leaders and environmental experts. By identifying operational pain points and introducing sophisticated diagnostic tools, you will help modernize how communities handle drinking water and wastewater.
We prioritize your development by providing a fast-paced environment where your voice is heard and your career path is clear. You will master advanced digital lead generation and multi-channel outreach, evolving into a true expert in complex public-sector sales cycles.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Execute targeted strategies to engage municipal water and wastewater utilities across high-growth regions.
- Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the sales process from initial discovery and lead nurturing to navigating government procurement and closing business.
- Proactive Outreach: Utilize high-volume, multi-channel prospecting to build a robust pipeline and exceed daily activity benchmarks.
- Account Expansion: Consult with existing clients to expand their technical capabilities, identifying opportunities for strategic upselling.
- Playbook Execution: Refine and execute account playbooks to re-engage dormant partners and accelerate new customer acquisition.
- Collaboration: Partner with the broader sales team to share best practices and improve conversion speeds within the municipal sector.
Qualifications and Attributes
- 1-2 years of successful experience in professional sales or business development.
- A proven track record in outbound prospecting and overcoming the hurdles of cold-calling.
- Educational background in Business, Environmental Science, or Engineering is highly valued.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to empathize with public sector stakeholders.
- A results-oriented mindset with the discipline to manage a book of business independently.

We believe peak performance requires a genuine commitment to work-life harmony and personal well-being.
- Financial Security: Competitive base salary ($45k–$60k) plus a performance-based incentive plan and a 401k/retirement match.
- Time to Recharge: Generous time-off package including three weeks of vacation, ten paid holidays, five personal/sick days, and dedicated volunteer time.
