Mission of the RoleThe Sales Manager will drive revenue growth across assigned territories in the United States while ensuring full alignment with IBA Industrial Solutions strategy, annual sales objectives, and margin targets. In addition, the role requires strict adherence to corporate ethics and all applicable regulatory standards to safeguard compliance at every stage of the sales process.
The Sales Manager will achieve defined sales and margin objectives by securing new clients within assigned territories. Moreover, the role requires proactive prospecting and pipeline development to convert qualified leads into long-term partnerships.
2. Strategic Negotiation and Deal ManagementThe successful candidate will negotiate commercial agreements in accordance with pricing strategy and corporate ethical guidelines. At the same time, they will ensure that all contractual terms protect both customer interests and company objectives.
3. CRM and Reporting ExcellenceAccurate and timely reporting remains essential. Therefore, the Sales Manager will consistently update activities, opportunities, and customer insights within CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Business Express to maintain data integrity and visibility.
4. Stakeholder EngagementThe role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, prospects, B2B partners, and key opinion leaders. Through consistent engagement, the Sales Manager will strengthen trust, reinforce brand credibility, and support long‑term growth.
5. Market Intelligence and Competitive AwarenessBy remaining informed about clinical, regulatory, and technical developments, the Sales Manager will communicate effectively with prospects and clients. In parallel, the role requires continuous monitoring of competitors and market trends to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
6. Functional CollaborationClose cooperation with product management, product innovation, marketing and other departments is essential. Through this collaboration, the Sales Manager will ensure alignment between market needs and IBA’s solutions portfolio, thereby strengthening value delivery.
7. Industry RepresentationParticipation in conferences, trade exhibitions, industry meetings and marketing initiatives forms an important part of the position. These engagements will enhance visibility while expanding professional networks.
Professional Profile Academic BackgroundA bachelor’s degree is required. Equivalent professional experience may be considered where relevant.
Experience and Technical ExpertiseThe ideal candidate brings five to seven years of experience in selling complex and high‑technology products, preferably within the gamma sterilization sector. Proven ability to manage sophisticated sales cycles and technical discussions is strongly valued.
Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable, as it will support engagement across diverse markets.
Core CompetenciesThe Sales Manager demonstrates strong expertise in identifying high‑potential prospects and conducting structured discovery conversations that uncover customer needs and qualify viable opportunities.
