As a BDM Channel Account Manager you will take ownership of channel partners within Germany with focus on Mid/South Germany. You will identify partners with potential for growth, develop strong relationships with them and create business opportunities. This is a 'hunter' role that requires understanding of areas for growth, players in those markets and how to onboard them in our channel partner programme.
Responsibilities- Detect untapped markets and establish strategies for increasing revenue from current accounts
- Build and implement a business development and revenue plan with your assigned partners
- Generate leads, nurture and expand existing relationships and identify opportunities for potential future growth
- Have a deep understanding of Zebra's software and hardware products and services along with competitor offerings and be able to educate partners/ customers in a persuasive yet engaging manner
- Managing partner C-Level relationships including financial (revenue) and legal (contractual) interactions
- Identify training and development requirements
- Manage own quota of key accounts and ensure they are retained and developed
- Work towards a set of KPIs
- Assist in product placement and promotional activities to increase sales together with our distributors
- Perform business reviews and recommend improvements
- Manage sales activities and maintain sales records and reports
- Willingness to travel accross Germany
- Bachelors in business management or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of applicable sales experience
- Proficient level of German and English languages
- Applies Solution Selling concepts to customer situations
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- 'Hunter' mentality
- Knowledge of Channel partner concept
- Ability to travel within Germany and travel to Ratingen office
