** Motorola Solutions is a world leader in the field of professional mobile communications systems with an impressive heritage of technological innovations and a global base of installed systems. This Department is responsible for selling Motorola Solutions public safety applications to city, county and state agencies in Toledo area / NW and North Central Ohio.##
Job Description The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for coordinating all facets of Motorola Solutions’ business relationship within their assigned account base including demand generation, sales, strategic account planning and overall client relationship management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Responsible for sales, strategic account planning and overall relationship management for a number of target customers in Ohio
* Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan for each “target” and “geographic” account covering the full portfolio of Motorola products and services (core and expansion technologies)
* Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for Motorola Solutions
* Proactively develop large project opportunities encompassing a wide range of products and services
* Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within and outside of public safety;
Sheriff, Mayor, CIO, Police Chief, Fire Chief and other officials in order to understand and influence technology and funding priorities
Specific Knowledge/
Skills:
* Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of sales/public safety experience
* OR 6+ years of sales/public safety experience
* Seeking previous outside sales experience selling solutions into government organizations preferred
* Strong relationship development and management skills
* Experience utilizing strategic account management practices
* Ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customers
* Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a C-Level executives
* Ability to establish oneself as a trusted advisor
* Ability to lead a diverse group in addressing customer requirements
* High tech solutions sales experience a plus
* Knowledge of industry trends and best practices a plus
* Highly motivated and results oriented
* Experience utilizing channel partners to address customer requirements
Location & Travel Requirements:
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within Ohio
* Preferred candidates will live in Ohio Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
