B2B Sales, Sales Representative
ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is partnering with a rapidly growing logistics client to expand their Sales Department. We are seeking a motivated, aggressive, and self-driven B2B Sales Representative to join the team.
This is a high-energy, target-driven role focused on generating new business opportunities and closing deals with small to medium-sized businesses. Leads are provided through a proprietary system, but success in this role requires a proactive, hustler mentality and a strong drive to exceed targets. Full industry training will be provided – prior logistics experience is a bonus, but prior sales experience and a competitive, results-focused attitude are essential.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time, subject to daylight savings).
- Public Holidays: This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (SA public holidays compensated according to BCEA).
- Internet Requirements: Fixed fibre line with minimum 25 Mbps upload/download and wired Ethernet capability. Applicants without this cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: Reliable backup solution required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without this cannot be considered.
- Work Environment: Fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact and convert leads provided by the client’s lead generation system.
- Conduct business meetings with prospective small to medium-sized business clients.
- Achieve and exceed set sales targets with a focus on consistent over achievement.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service, creating referral and repeat business opportunities.
- Communicate the benefits of the client’s logistics solutions effectively to potential customers.
- Source solutions and collaborate with the operations team to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven B2B Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful sales, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain solutions. Logistics/trucking sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- Inside Sales Expertise: Extensive experience in high-volume inside sales targeting new business prospects.
- Results-Driven: Strong hunger and drive to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Consultative Selling Approach: Mature, professional approach to understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Communication & Relationship Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Positive Attitude & Resilience: Energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about success.
- Networking & Influence: Established social and business networks to support prospecting and deal-making.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze opportunities, navigate challenges, and develop effective solutions.
