What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, maintaining high-level executive relationships
  • Sell and manage relationships with existing national named accounts, focusing on growth and customer service
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities while addressing competitive threats
  • Prepare and present formal proposals to various levels of the organization, leading negotiations and closing sales
  • Coordinate account strategy and tactics for the sales support team, ensuring effective resource utilization
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant account management environment
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Proven selling skills in a complex matrix environment
  • Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of the employer
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with Internet-related software or systems
  • Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to manage complex relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle time and prioritize workload
