Position: Account Executive - Higher Education

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Acquire and grow Higher Ed accounts within the Great Lakes territory
  • Sell the Zoom Workplace platform, focusing on Voice, PBX, and Contact Center solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with executives and IT leaders in government and education
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive coverage plan for the Great Lakes region
  • Navigate complex procurement processes and manage long public sector sales cycles
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • 5+ years of successful Account Executive experience with consistent quota attainment
  • Experience selling into the Public Sector / SLED (State, Local, Education)
  • Background in UCaaS / SaaS / Cloud sales, particularly Voice and Contact Center
  • Experience managing government procurement and contracting cycles
  • Must reside in the Great Lakes region (Illinois/Wisconsin)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Proven track record of building relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions
  • Familiarity with Zoom products and services
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to accurately forecast pipeline and provide territory insights
  • Experience collaborating with channel organizations to enhance sales efforts
