About

the Position

The Account Executive manages a portfolio of assigned clients to understand and address their end-to-end talent management requirements that clients need to be high-performance organizations. Leveraging a consultative approach, the Account Executive develops and cultivates enduring relationships with existing client stakeholders to create client value while expanding University of Phoenix’s (UOPX) revenue base. The Account Executive works as a trusted adviser to design, propose and sell innovative talent management solutions for multiple clients.

What

You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with existing clients as a trusted advisor, understanding the clients’ full talent management needs and bringing forth innovative, comprehensive UOPX solutions to create client value and expand UOPX’s footprint.
  • Conduct effective discovery meetings with existing clients using probing, interviewing and consulting techniques to identify and understand clients’ pain points and key solution needs; connect a client’s situation with UOPX’s ability to add value through differentiated solution development, delivery and implementation.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of UOPX products, programs and service offerings and trends in talent management and development.
  • Maintain timely, accurate and thorough documentation of all activities, tasks, contacts and account management activities in the client relationship management system.
  • Attend and participate in appropriate regional and/or national professional associations, such as Association for Talent Development, The Masie Center and the Society for Human Resources Management, and industry organizations or events to represent UOPX capabilities and drive new revenue opportunities with existing clients; support UOPX campaigns and new product launches and represents UOPX established brand standards in a compliant manner in all written and verbal external communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
