Field Sales Engineer

• Plan sales activities through market analysis to identify target customers
• Schedule and conduct productive customer visits with clear agendas
• Engage in active listening to understand customer needs and requirements
• Negotiate agreements with customers and business partners to reach optimal solutions
• Document and report sales activities, including forecasts and cost savings

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or business administration with a technical focus, or an advanced technical degree with equivalent experience in the cutting tool industry
• Several years of sales experience in industrial cutting tools or significant manufacturing experience with a focus on new business development
• Experience in the manufacturing or distribution marketplace
• Ability to work independently from a home office or virtual environment and travel frequently
• Valid Driver's License and residence in South Carolina, preferably in the Columbia area

• Previous experience in territory management and account management
• Familiarity with relevant software and office support tools
• Proven track record of increasing customer productivity
• Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences
• Ability to provide customer-tailored service
