Protection Advisor – Mojo Mortgages – United Kingdom.
OverviewWe’re a growing team of 20 dedicated Protection Advisors led by two experienced Sales Managers. Our focus is delivering tailored protection solutions to every client.
Location:
United Kingdom
Compensation: £35,000 / year
- Picking up live transfers and pre‑booked calls from Mortgage Advisors.
- Arranging protection reviews with new and existing customers.
- Conducting in‑depth reviews of customer protection needs, especially for protecting their mortgage.
- Providing advice and recommending the best protection products for customers’ personal circumstances.
- Acting as a wealth of knowledge on the protection marketplace.
- Completing insurance applications and medical questionnaires.
- Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation.
- Producing insurance quotes and issuing policy documentation, liaising with underwriters.
We work a 39‑hour week on three shift patterns to align with opening hours, plus a one‑hour lunch break. Typical rota: two early shifts and one mid or late shift.
- Early – 9 am‑6 pm
- Mid – 10 am‑7 pm
- Late – 11 am‑8 pm
- Fridays – 9 am‑4:30 pm (30‑minute lunch break)
Our team does not work Saturdays currently, but we’re growing and may change.
What do we need from you?- Minimum 2 years experience in an advised Protection role with knowledge of income protection, life cover and critical illness products.
- CeMAP, Cert Pro or R05 – or willingness to achieve within 3 months (self‑funded).
- Experience with whole‑of‑market or large panel providers.
- Strong verbal and listening communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and handle objections.
- Fully remote – work from anywhere in the UK.
