- Research and compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads
- Maintain knowledge of company product lines and sales processes
- Make outbound calls to qualify leads and sell products while addressing customer objections
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, including professional landscape contractors and government agencies
- Track and report weekly account activity and sales performance metrics
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in sales and/or customer service
- Strong verbal communication skills, especially over the telephone
- Experience in cold calling potential prospects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales‑related mapping software, including Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Ability to learn quickly about key competitors in outdoor power equipment
- Experience working with external web applications for tracking contractor activity and government bids
- Familiarity with outdoor power equipment and competitive landscape
