What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Research and compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads and take action on existing leads
  • Maintain knowledge of company product lines and the ordering process to effectively sell products
  • Perform outbound lead and follow‑up contacts to qualify leads and overcome objections to complete sales
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, including professional landscape contractors and government agencies
  • Track and report weekly account activity and execute against established sales goals
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience in sales and/or customer service
  • Strong verbal communication skills, particularly over the telephone
  • Experience in cold calling potential prospects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and sales‑related mapping software
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AS400 systems
  • Familiarity with competition in outdoor power equipment
  • Ability to work with external web applications for tracking contractor activity and government bids
