Account Executive
Location:
Greater Sudbury Area (Hybrid / Remote)

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 base + commission

The Opportunity

Our client is hiring a Furniture Account Representative (FAR) to own and grow contract furniture sales across the Greater Sudbury region. This is a hybrid, field-based role suited for a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and managing a strong book of accounts.
You'll act as the furniture subject-matter expert within your territory—working independently while collaborating with internal sales partners to uncover opportunities and deliver tailored workplace solutions to mid-market and large accounts.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop new furniture business while expanding penetration within existing accounts
  • Manage and grow your own book of business across Strategic, Large, and Mid-Market clients
  • Build trusted, value-added relationships with key decision-makers
  • Conduct independent prospecting and leverage internal partners for lead generation
  • Deliver professional sales presentations and solution-based proposals
  • Support clients with space measurements and furniture solution recommendations
  • Achieve revenue, margin, retention, and penetration targets within your territory
Target Account Size:
  • $2M-$3.5M annual sales across assigned accounts and territory
What We're Looking For
  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience with a strong focus on new business development
  • 2+ years experience facilitating collaborative, strategic meetings with senior stakeholders such as:
    • Executives, Facility Managers, Procurement, A&D professionals, and Contractors
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable taking site measurements and translating needs into solutions
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and ability to learn vendor systems
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a hybrid role
