netnumber is seeking a talented and seasoned Senior Account Manager to help grow our business and revenue to the next level with strategic accounts. As a key member of the netnumber Sales team you will be responsible for driving growth, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and developing and executing sales strategies. This position carries a quota and is a remote position which can be located in or near any major US city, ideally in the eastern region
. This is a soluton sales position that requires a mindset of uncovering opportunities in new and existing accounts. This role is focused on expanding netnumber solutions withing existing accounts while selling and growing market share with new logo accounts.
Your focus as a Senior Account Manager is to develop, cultivate and maintain business relationships with key prospects and customers in the telecom and messaging market that utilize netnumber services. You will evangelize the netnumber service values as a global provider of telephone number business intelligence while ensuring customer satisfaction to grow our market share. netnumber provides powerful market leading data solutions to improve routing, verification and fraud processes with telecom business intelligence covering telecom and enterprise markets.
This position requires a professional, experienced Sales Account Manager with a history of proven success at building business relationships with key accounts and generating revenue.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to reach sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Perform prospecting and contact potential customers to build a sales pipeline for our products and services.
- Attend industry events to promote our services and interact with prospects, customers, and industry.
- Demonstrate goal-oriented business-to-business sales performance and success.
- Perform Account Management on behalf of assigned accounts to help support service deployment in collaboration with of our Customer Success team.
- Prepare service quotes, collaborate with Contracts to generate agreements, and participate in completing RFI and RFP responses with team resources.
- Work closely with Sales SVP, Sales Engineer and Product Manager stakeholders in a team environment to achieve Sales goals.
- Willing to travel as needed, estimated to be 20% depending on geographic proximity to accounts.
- Have a background and understanding of technical data services related to the voice and messaging industry and an understanding of current market trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn the product sets and present with confidence and knowledge.
- Strong analytical skills and a consultative solution-oriented approach to selling.
- Experience executing target account strategies, preparing business proposals, and negotiating agreements collaboratively with team members.
- 5+ years of sales experience selling B2B solutions in the telecom and messaging industry.
- Have had sales training and understand general selling methodology.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite of business software and Salesforce.
- Languages:
Fluent in English, and additional languages preferred.
