Job Description
As the Business Development Manager, you will represent our products in a consultative role, aligning solutions with customer needs. You will identify and close new Enterprise business as well as management and up-selling of existing accounts, perform sales and technical discussions with clients, be part of the stages of communication initiatives from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation.
This is a full cycle sales role where you will use your expert hunting and closing skills. In this role you will report to our EVP of Business Development. This role will be based in your home office in the South-Central Region of the country, ideally in TX.
Responsibilities
Establish, build, and manage client relationships
Interact with customers at the technical level, as required
Remain current on relevant technical information by attending meetings, conferences, task forces, and events
Identify existing DAS venues with no Maintenance contract and propose a support plan
Client presentations and preparation of proposals and documents
Aggressively close sales
Apply company standard processes throughout the design and fulfillment of wireless solutions
Perform a variety of activities and functions to support the company and help broaden your knowledge of the business.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in consultative sales with complex, high technology solutions preferably DAS Sales.
Experience in one of the following:
Telecommunications, Networking, Wireless, Cellular, Facility industry desired
Proven experience as a hunter, identifying new sales opportunities.
Must have proven significant history selling to Enterprise Accounts.
Customer Oriented - take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
Communication - communicate effectively with others using thru various mediums.
Business Acumen - grasp and understand business concepts and issues.
Analytical Skills - use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
Ability to work well with a team
Relationship Building - effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
Negotiation Skills - reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties.
Motivation - inspire oneself and others to reach a goal and/or perform to the best of their ability.
Educational/Vocational Training You Have
High school diploma (or equivalent) required
Preferred Bachelors degree in Business/Communication (or related field) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of experience, certification(s), and education
