Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Serve as a responsive and proactive point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration between Delta’s engineering, quality, and customer service teams and external customers.
  • Develop strategic relationships at all organizational levels within key accounts.
  • Engage and align Manufacturers’ Representatives (MRs) and customers with Delta leadership, promoting the Delta Difference:

  • Travel regularly within assigned territories to meet customers in person and create new revenue opportunities.
2. Company Culture and Internal Collaboration
  • Attend quarterly (or as‑needed) meetings at Delta’s headquarters in Beverly, MA, to support customer visits, audits, and new business opportunities.
  • Actively participate in company sales meetings, training sessions, forecast planning, and strategy discussions.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance productivity, improve processes, and drive innovation.
3. Communication and Reporting
  • Provide weekly opportunity updates in Delta’s designated CRM or reporting tools including Microsoft Teams.
  • Document and share detailed visit reports, action items, and notable interactions in designated opportunity database.
  • Proactively communicate both successes and challenges to the Director of Sales and Marketing, particularly related to quality, delivery, pricing, or market trends impacting sales success.
4. Revenue Growth and Sales Strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy focused on profitable growth.
  • Set and monitor booking goals for each MR firm, tracking opportunity pipelines with accurate 12-month revenue projections.
  • Focus on opportunity development through Delta’s vertical integration, technical expertise, and AS9100-certified quality system.
  • Educate MR teams and customers on Delta’s core competencies: RF and MMW interconnect solutions.
  • Support and align with Delta’s distributor partners, working closely with the Distribution Sales Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the electronics industry, with a focus on sales or marketing (RF/microwave or MMW interconnect experience highly preferred).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven success in managing and developing business relationships across customers, distributors, OEMs, and subcontractors.
  • Experience prospecting and developing new business in key sectors: military, aerospace, communications, broadcast/audio, test & measurement, and semiconductors.
  • Strong aptitude for technical sales and building strategic partnerships.

Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
