Sales Representative- East Coast

• Travel seasonally to sell frontlist titles in person and develop new accounts
• Promote and support backlist sales through creative sales approaches and inventory reviews
• Create and manage custom Edelweiss collections and communicate effectively with buyers
• Handle account inquiries and provide support to ensure customer satisfaction
• Represent the employer at trade shows and conferences as required

• Minimum educational requirement: college or university degree in a related field
• 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
• Strong understanding of the book retail sector, including market trends and distribution channels
• Proficiency with Edelweiss and Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Teams, and Zoom
• Ability to travel by car and airplane as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 3+ years of work experience in the book industry
• Valid driver’s license
• Independent bookstore experience
• Proven ability to cultivate and develop positive business relationships
