Role Description

We are seeking a full‑time Agency Sales Representative to join our team based in Rio Rancho, NM, in a hybrid capacity, allowing some flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients to promote Colonial Life’s benefits solutions. Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging prospective clients, delivering effective sales presentations, responding to inquiries, and conducting open enrollment benefits education.

You will also collaborate with internal and external teams to meet client needs and achieve sales goals.

Qualifications
  • Sales and client relationship management experience, with demonstrable skills in identifying business opportunities and building partnerships
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deliver engaging presentations and explain benefits clearly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in the use of digital tools and platforms for sales tracking and virtual communication
  • Motivation to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in insurance sales or employee benefits is a plus
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required for external client meetings
