Due to an internal promotion, our client is seeking a Territory Manager to cover the Victoria, BC region.
Position OverviewThe Territory Manager is a field-based sales role responsible for driving profitable growth within a defined territory. This position focuses on developing and expanding relationships with oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, dental laboratories, and dental offices.
This role reports directly to the Regional Sales Director.
The successful candidate will work closely with Digital Solutions Specialists while owning all implant sales within the territory.
Key Responsibilities- Drive profitable sales growth and maximize revenue within the territory
- Develop, maintain, and expand existing accounts
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Conduct 8–10 office visits per day on average
- Sell implant systems and related solutions
- Occasionally be present in procedure rooms during surgeries
- Attend evening and weekend trade shows, study clubs, and educational events
- Partner with marketing teams to support product launches and sales initiatives
- Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline and territory planning
- Deliver complex clinical and product information in a clear and compelling way
- Maintain high ethical standards and professional integrity
- Background in medical device or medical equipment sales
- Experience with contract negotiations and pricing discussions
- Strong “hunter” mentality with proven hard-selling ability
- Experience selling directly to physicians or dental professionals preferred
- Comfortable in clinical environments
- Strong consultative selling skills (knowledge of Challenger methodology is an asset)
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a field environment
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 3+ years of successful sales experience in a high-growth corporate market
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to maintain auto insurance coverage
Preferred:
- Medical device industry experience
- Prior experience selling to physicians
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Field or home office – 5 days per week
- Territory coverage:
Victoria, BC - One Territory Manager per area
- Collaboration with regional sales peers
- Variable Commission: $50,000 CAD (uncapped)
- Guaranteed commission for first 3 months
- Monthly commission payout
