Location:
Maryland | Field Based | Travel to client sites, construction sites, & industry events in Maryland and occasional visits to corporate offices in VA.

Salary:
Compensation – commensurate to skill level and experience + commission

  • Entry-Level (2-5 years): $90,000 - $120,000 / year
  • Mid-Level (5-10 years): $120,000 - $165,000 / year
  • Principal (10+ years): $165,000 + / year

We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager who is responsible for driving new client acquisition, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.

This is a high-impact, field-based role where you’ll represent our brand, build long-term partnerships, and help clients find solutions that power their success.

Overview

As a Territory Sales Manager
, you will be focused on direct, in-person sales activities, representing Davis’s products and services to prospective and existing customers across the state.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to drive revenue growth
  • Prospect, network, and generate new business opportunities
  • Conduct in-person client meetings and presentations
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Track leads, opportunities, and activity in CRM (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding
  • Represent Davis at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Travel throughout Maryland (50%+ travel, approx. 10% overnight)
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven success in sales, prospecting, and closing deals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Reliable transportation and valid U.S. government-issued
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Monthly and annual sales target achievement
Required Experience
  • Proven track record in territory management with customer-facing field sales role, with emphasis on prospecting, relationship-building, and closing deals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Valid U.S. government-issued identification and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory.
Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of the power distribution or infrastructure market is a plus.
  • Field-based, with regular travel to client offices, construction sites, and industry events across Maryland. Travel 50% or more.
  • Occasional remote work from home office.
  • Occasional visits to company headquarters or manufacturing partner sites for meetings and training.
