Salary:
Compensation – commensurate to skill level and experience + commission
- Entry-Level (2-5 years): $90,000 - $120,000 / year
- Mid-Level (5-10 years): $120,000 - $165,000 / year
- Principal (10+ years): $165,000 + / year

We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager who is responsible for driving new client acquisition, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.

OverviewAs a Territory Sales Manager
, you will be focused on direct, in-person sales activities, representing Davis’s products and services to prospective and existing customers across the state.
- Develop and execute a territory strategy to drive revenue growth
- Prospect, network, and generate new business opportunities
- Conduct in-person client meetings and presentations
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Track leads, opportunities, and activity in CRM (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding
- Represent Davis at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Travel throughout Maryland (50%+ travel, approx. 10% overnight)
- Proven success in sales, prospecting, and closing deals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Reliable transportation and valid U.S. government-issued
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Opportunities generated and converted

- Monthly and annual sales target achievement
- Proven track record in territory management with customer-facing field sales role, with emphasis on prospecting, relationship-building, and closing deals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Valid U.S. government-issued identification and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory.
- Knowledge of the power distribution or infrastructure market is a plus.
- Field-based, with regular travel to client offices, construction sites, and industry events across Maryland. Travel 50% or more.
- Occasional remote work from home office.
- Occasional visits to company headquarters or manufacturing partner sites for meetings and training.
