ESM is a Clean-Tech & Water-Tech focused business development & commercialization partner. Our clients range from early VC-stage companies that are going to market and looking for their first customers all the way to global publicly traded companies, where ESM supports bringing new product lines and specific offerings to market.
As sales consultants, we work with our clients to understand the value of their product/s and then leverage our expertise to develop positioning, campaigns, sales playbooks, facilitate outreach and ultimately act as facilitators for the deals we generate.
This is an excellent role for an individual early in their sales career because of our mentorship program, which arms you with the skills that would typically be learned over an entire career. This is also an excellent role to gain exposure a wide variety of VC-Backed start-ups if entrepreneurship is something in your future.
Client Testimony:
This role will be responsible for prospecting on behalf of our clients in the water and clean-tech space to generate new business opportunities. You must be comfortable developing email messaging as well as speaking over the phone and presenting yourself professionally via email and Zoom calls.
We have a young, creative and energetic team that we are looking to further build out. Currently, we are using a blended work schedule with 2-3 days a week in our office. Check out our workspace here!
Job Responsibilities- Identify quality prospects and set revenue-generating opportunities for assigned clients
- Track and manage all activity via various CRM systems
- Report prospecting performance back to the managing team members
- Meet monthly outreach metrics and performance goals
- Support the development and growth of ESM clients
- Collaborate on ESM creative marketing and communication tactics
- Identify opportunities for improvement for ESM and our clients
- Participate in frequent internal and external meetings to review activity and performance

- Have obtained a 4-year bachelor’s degree (Business, Communication, Marketing preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Hubspot, Salesforce, GSuite, Slack
- Compensation:
We aim to get all of our employees to over a $50k base within the first year of employment. On average, our employees receive $5,000+ in bonuses in their first year. Reviews take place every 3-6 months.
