Job Summary: Lead and grow our managed‑services sales activities, drive new business, manage customer relationships, meet revenue targets, and build a high‑performing sales team. The role blends strategic planning, hands‑on sales, and leadership to expand the firm’s footprint in the region.
Responsibilities- Attend meetings to establish user requirements, advising customers on bespoke capabilities.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for managed IT / MSP services (e.g. managed IT hosting, cloud services, outsourcing, service‑level agreements).
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities (SME and enterprise clients), and expand existing accounts.
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads; conduct outreach, proposals, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
- Work closely with service delivery and technical teams to ensure proposals are feasible and services delivered meet client expectations.
- Meet and exceed sales revenue and margin targets.
- Manage, mentor and support a small team of sales executives, including setting targets, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback for senior management.
- Stay informed about industry trends (cloud, cybersecurity, SaaS, outsourcing) to position our services competitively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Target‑driven, results‑oriented with strong self‑motivation.
- Knowledge of managed services market, IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, or outsourcing.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and sales reporting software.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to sell technical/service‑based offerings using a value‑based approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Comfortable collaboration with technical teams to craft tailored proposals.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in managed services, IT services, cloud, SaaS or related sectors.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline end‑to‑end.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small sales team.
- Show enthusiasm for driving revenue growth and proactively identifies opportunities to expand sales pipelines and improve team performance.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to the role, team, and organisation, consistently going above and beyond to support sales targets and strategic objectives.
- Approach new challenges with creativity and flexibility, adapting quickly to market changes and evolving customer needs.
- Display strong self‑awareness and actively pursue professional development to enhance sales leadership capability and overall team effectiveness.
