Position: Sales & Business Development Engineer, Wastewater (Benelux)
Location: Netherlands

Summary

The Sales & Business Development Engineer, Wastewater ensures the commercial development of Mobile Water Solutions activities and brand awareness across the Benelux region. Activities include participating in communication actions, prospecting potential new customers, preparing proposals in cooperation with the process experts, negotiating prices, developing strategies to boost sales, managing the customer portfolio, and ensuring commercial follow-up with customers. The activities include dedication to driving change, setting industry standards, and delivering exceptional value to ensure customers for life.

The Sales & Business Development Engineer, Wastewater reports to the Division Sales Manager, Northern Europe.

The role is home office-based position with frequent travel and industrial site visits within the region.

Job Responsibilities
  • Define strategic growth agenda, develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with company objectives to ensure sustained growth and profitability.
  • Drive application of multiple technologies (brand- agnostic) within industries through various Industrial Water Solution brands.
  • Act as the primary ambassador and spokesperson for the company, representing our brand and values at industry conferences, events, and in media engagements.
  • Establish sales plan for the dedicated area with the support of the Division Sales Manager
  • Calculate prices based on the standard cost sheet
  • Prepare proposals (technical & process support from Europe Operations Team)
Business Development
  • Facilitate key account management on the regional level, establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners and customers.
  • Identify and prospect of new potential customers in the assigned region.
  • Establish development plan for the dedicated area with the support of the Division Sales Manager
  • Implement specific business development plans (priority customers, engineering houses & EPCs, IEX, etc.)
  • Identify new markets or fields of opportunities
Support general Sales and Marketing activities
  • Collect, manage, and spread industry specific expertise, identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, innovations, and industry trends to maintain the company’s competitive edge.
  • Contribute proactively to the business & profitability growth
  • Build brand awareness
  • Implement marketing plan (support from Europe Marketing Team) and participating in communication events and actions (webinars, seminars, exhibitions, press articles, technical papers)
Quality Assurance
  • Assist in developing systems and procedures for Mobile Water Solutions.
  • Provide adequate auditing, particularly of on-site activities, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Adhere to and enforce procedures outlined within the quality system.
Health & Safety
  • Ensure adherence to QHSE policies and standards by fostering a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace, actively promoting safety initiatives, and complying with regulatory requirements, as the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees are fundamental to our organization.
  • Report any incidents, near-misses, or hazards promptly to management and assist in the investigation process to prevent future occurrences
