• Serve as the primary point-of-contact for major accounts, maintaining high-level executive relationships
• Sell products and services to national named accounts while ensuring customer service and account growth
• Identify and qualify business opportunities, addressing competitive threats effectively
• Prepare and present formal proposals and presentations to various organizational levels, managing negotiations and closing sales
• Develop and maintain detailed account profiles and strategies for sustained business success

• 8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant environment
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of the employer
• Strong negotiation, closing, and solution selling skills
• Ability to effectively lead teams and manage workload while developing a sales pipeline

• Experience with Internet-related software or systems
• Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach
• Demonstrated ability to influence and manage internal relationships
• Proven experience in a complex matrix sales environment
• Strong ability to prioritize workload and maintain accurate sales forecasting
