This is not a fully remote position. To be considered for this position, candidates must live within a commutable distance of one of our client locations.

This role is Vibrent’s strategic advisor and sales leader for key clients in Vibrent’s academic research market. Managing a focused portfolio of high-value clients, this role owns the commercial relationship, account growth strategy, and executive engagement. You will focus on expansion, retention, and customer delight for digital/software solutions.

What You’llDo:
  • Manage a focused portfolio that includes a mix of existing, high value customers and local target accounts– you will have direct responsibility for revenue growth across new projects, expansion, upgrades, and project growth
  • Serve as the trusted advisor to research leaders, building multi-threaded senior relationships
  • Develop and maintain Account Growth Plans with strategies for expansion, revenue growth, and cross-department adoption
  • Proactively identify opportunities and position Vibrent solutions
  • Direct revenue responsibility to grow a portfolio of existing accounts
  • Work remotely with occasional US-based travel
Required Background and

Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific focus area, digital technology, or related field
  • Clinical research process or bioinformatics experience (either direct involvement in research studies, consulting, or sales in relevant departments)
  • 3+ years of experience in solutions sales, platform SaaS sales, ideally in academic research, or healthcare
  • Critical thinking skills and a natural curiosity about scientific research

  • Proven success in managing complex software and solutions sales cycles
  • In‑depth knowledge on how to navigate academic research organizations, including provider networks, hospital systems and cancer centers

The listed base salary range for this position is dependent on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.

This role is eligible for commission. Details of the commission structure will be provided during the interview process.
