Position Purpose
The Territory Manager - Specialty Products at SRS Building Products is tasked with driving strategic sales growth and establishing robust stakeholder relationships across the assigned territory. This role is pivotal in conducting market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats, translating them into actionable sales strategies to optimize product prospects. By collaborating with internal teams and maintaining deep product knowledge, the successful candidate will uphold superior service standards, foster customer loyalty, and contribute to the sustained expansion of SRS Building Products’ offerings in the specialty segment.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and execute detailed sales strategies to meet or surpass corporate objectives, identify and capitalize on emerging markets, stay informed of new products and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with key industry stakeholders, including architects, builders, contractors, and distributors, to enhance market presence.
- Conduct in‑depth market research to pinpoint trends, opportunities, and potential threats, converting insights into proactive sales strategies that drive growth.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance against sales targets and KPIs, initiating adjustments to ensure goal attainment.
- Engage with internal departments such as marketing, supply chain, and customer service to facilitate seamless operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s specialty products, offering expert advice and insights to clients to foster sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Produce and present thorough sales reports and strategic insights to senior management, contributing to informed decision‑making and business expansion.
The Territory Manager - Specialty Products reports directly to the Regional Sales Director. This position does not have any direct reports. It requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve strategic sales goals and enhance product market penetration.
Travel RequirementsThis role necessitates frequent travel within the designated territory to engage with clients, stakeholders, and to conduct market research, ensuring consistent alignment with strategic sales and relationship management objectives.
Physical RequirementsThe position involves both office-based and field activities. Standard physical requirements include operating a computer and other office equipment, extensive telephone communication, sitting or standing for extended periods, and lifting and carrying materials up to 20 pounds during trade events. Minimum Qualifications- Educational Background:
