Business Development Manager, Indonesia (Jakarta based; remote working)
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate and grow business with major Indonesian telecommunications operators (Telkom, XL, Indosat, Link Net, etc.).
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers (technical, procurement, and C-level) at target operators.
Drive the entire sales cycle for our portfolio of set-top boxes
, Optical Network Terminals (ONT),
routers
, and home gateway devices
.
Understand customer technical and business requirements, and effectively position our products and solutions to create compelling value propositions.
Lead complex contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and manage agreement finalization.
Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and inform product strategy.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain) to ensure market needs are met and opportunities are capitalized on.
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and market share goals for the Indonesia region.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a strong plus.
5-10 years of proven experience in Key Account Sales or Business Development
, specifically within the Indonesian telecom operator space
.
Mandatory: Demonstrated success in selling consumer terminals or CPE devices (e.g., set-top boxes, ONT, routers) to major Indonesian operators like TELKOM, XL Axiata, Indosat Ooredoo, and/or Link Net
.
Deep understanding of the Indonesian telecom market dynamics, procurement processes, and operator roadmaps.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential, both written and spoken, for professional communication and negotiations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of working autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
