Role Description and ResponsibilitiesFlex Factor is building a new approach to preventing false payment declines in real time. We partner with merchants and payments TF leaders to protect revenue, improve authorization rates, and improve customer experience at checkout.
We are hiring a high-energy Enterprise Business Development Representative to help us open and develop strategic accounts. This is not a high-volume SDR role. Success comes from thoughtful outreach, strong business understanding, and the ability to create meaningful conversations with senior stakeholders.
You will research target organizations, map buying committees, and engage leaders across finance, payments, risk, and revenue operations. The goal is to build real relationships and create qualified enterprise opportunities, not just book meetings.
You will work closely with Account Executives and leadership to develop account strategies, refine messaging, and help shape Flex Factor’s enterprise go-to-market motion while using modern tools and AI-assisted workflows to increase personalization and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect into target organizations and develop pipeline within strategic accounts
- Engage senior stakeholders, including finance, payments, fraud, and revenue leadership
- Build multi-threaded relationships across buying committees
- Create high-quality discovery conversations that convert into qualified opportunities
- Use modern sales and AI tools to research, personalize, and scale outreach across email, phone, Linked In, and other channels
- Maintain detailed account intelligence and engagement context in the CRM
- Partner with Account Executives on account plans and deal progression
- Identify relevant business triggers to initiate timely outreach
- Continuously refine messaging and targeting based on market feedback
- This role is designed for individuals who want to build enterprise sales skills and progress toward a closing role.
- 2–5+ years in outbound business development, sales development, or similar prospecting role
- Demonstrated ability to engage director-level and above stakeholders
- Strong work ethic, ownership mindset, and ability to operate independently
- High energy with strong communication and emotional intelligence
- Comfortable context-switching between research, outreach, and tooling throughout the day
- Coachable, curious, and disciplined in daily execution
- Able to run consistent outbound activity without sacrificing personalization
- Experience in payments, fintech, fraud, ecommerce, or SaaS environments
- Experience prospecting into complex or enterprise organizations
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, Linked In Sales Navigator, and modern AI prospecting tools
- Enterprise Meetings Created – Qualified conversations with senior stakeholders
