Role OverviewThe Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for building and qualifying a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads through outbound prospecting. This role focuses on research, list building, and multi-channel outreach—primarily via Linked In and email—to connect with decision-makers and generate sales-ready opportunities.
You will own the lead generation process from prospect identification through initial qualification, working closely with sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads. This role is ideal for execution-driven professionals who enjoy high-volume outreach, data-driven optimization, and being the engine that fuels revenue growth.
Your ImpactYour work directly drives pipeline health and revenue outcomes by ensuring sales teams consistently engage with qualified prospects. Through strong research, thoughtful personalization, and disciplined follow-through, you’ll improve response rates, shorten sales cycles, and create predictable pipeline momentum.
Core ResponsibilitiesProspect Research & Database Building (30%)- Identify target accounts and decision-makers based on ideal customer profiles
- Build and maintain accurate prospect databases using sales intelligence tools
- Research companies, industries, and personas to inform outreach messaging
- Validate and enrich contact data to ensure high deliverability and accuracy
- Segment prospects by role, industry, company size, and buying signals
- Execute outbound campaigns via Linked In and email
- Send personalized connection requests and follow-up messages daily
- Run cold email campaigns using sequencing and automation tools
- Customize messaging based on prospect context and pain points
- Manage outreach cadences and follow-ups across multiple touchpoints
- Respond promptly to inbound replies to maintain engagement momentum
- Qualify prospects based on fit, interest, and readiness
- Conduct initial discovery conversations or written qualification
- Differentiate and tag leads appropriately (MQL vs SQL)
- Maintain clean lead stages and handoff notes for sales teams
- Re-engage stalled or cold prospects strategically
- Log all outreach activity and outcomes accurately in CRM systems
- Maintain up-to-date lead statuses and next steps
- Ensure clean, deduplicated, and well-documented records
- Track engagement history and qualification context
- Support reporting on pipeline contribution and lead quality
- Track outreach activity and conversion metrics
- Identify which messages, sequences, and channels perform best
- Test and refine subject lines, CTAs, and personalization approaches
- Share insights and recommendations based on performance data
Requirements
Must-Haves (Required)- 1–2+ years of experience in lead generation, SDR, BDR, or outbound sales
