Overview

Fast Track Mortgage Adviser Academy (12 Month Commission Guarantee included) An outstanding opportunity to commence a long-term career in Financial Services becoming a full time, fully employed, CII qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser working for one of the UK’s leading mortgage providers, with home-based working once you have completed your first 16 weeks of office-based training.

Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Adviser

Responsibilities and Program Structure
  • Enhanced Salary & Guaranteed Commission structure during training and after.
  • During the first 16 weeks of training, a basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £30K per annum.
  • From month 4 to month 6, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £30K per annum.
  • From month 7 to month 10, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £32.5K per annum.
  • From month 10 to month 16, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £35K per annum.
  • From month 17, £25K basic salary plus unlimited commission, with an expected OTE of £45K+.
  • Contract: Full time, permanent, employed role.
  • Location: Initially office based for the first 11 weeks of training at our Academy Centre on Oxford Street in Manchester, followed by 5 weeks remote training. You will continue to be remote once qualified.
  • Target: Candidates with a strong desire to forge a long-term career in Financial Services. Suitable for recent graduates or those with a demonstrable track record in sales looking to advance their professional careers.
  • Post training salary: After 16 weeks, you will earn guaranteed additional monthly commission which increases in tiered increments over the following 12 months. After the guarantee ends, a realistic OTE of £50K+ in the second full year is expected, along with benefits and promotional tiers.
  • CF1 & CF6: Full financial support provided to gain the CF1 & CF6 qualifications, including study materials and exam entry costs paid for.
Working Hours
  • Training period: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Full availability during the 16 weeks with no planned holidays.
  • Post training: Pattern covering a mix of 9:30 AM–6 PM and 11:30 AM–8 PM, Monday to Friday. No weekend or bank holiday work required.

About the Role

As a home-based Mortgage and Protection Adviser, your focus is on delivering quality advice and sales to customers. Contacting customers, securing appointments and progressing mortgage and protection applications are supported by our Adviser Support Teams. The role aims to enable you to perform at your best while developing a long-term career in Financial Services as a fully CII qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser.

This is a telephone-based role requiring articulation and engagement. You will be writing in excess of 14 mortgages with protection each month; therefore, you should be highly motivated, disciplined and well organized.

Your long-term career progression is important to us, and we emphasise training and development. Many Adviser colleagues have progressed within the company, including our Sales Management team who started as Mortgage Advisers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
  • A strong desire to work within the Financial Services industry, particularly mortgages and protection.
  • Recent graduation at 2:1 or higher or a strong track record in sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with outstanding communication and listening abilities, and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Extremely well organized with a disciplined and structured approach to work.
  • Highly competent in IT and a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Important Note

Please be aware that attendance is required for 11 weeks of office-based training in Manchester followed by 5 weeks remote training. Holiday during the training period is not permitted.
