This role is for Buildscout, a sister company of Searchland, focused on transforming lead generation in the construction industry.

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and contributing to our commercial growth. You’ll play a central role in helping new customers discover Buildscout, with support from a collaborative sales and product team. What

You’ll Be Doing
  • Identify and connect with potential clients through calls, emails, Linked In, and events
  • Convert qualified leads into long‑term customers, moving them efficiently through the sales funnel.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing how Buildscout provides value to property and construction professionals.
  • Work closely with prospective clients to understand their needs and close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to refine sales strategies.
  • Attend trade shows, industry meetups, and networking events to generate new opportunities.
  • Gather client feedback and share insights to improve sales processes and product offerings.
  • Take ownership of personal sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Help refine and optimise the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience Essential Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • At least 2 years experience in a cold sales/outreach role, ideally in SaaS
  • A natural sales mindset, confidence, resilience, and a competitive, results‑driven attitude
  • Eagerness to learn and take on challenges
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
Desired (Not Essential)
  • Exposure to B2B sales or tech product environments
  • Experience in customer‑facing roles such as telesales, hospitality, retail, call centres, or sport
